I'm not much into tele-preaching, but I got curious by something that followed that one in youtube - and this one was quite funny ;) I mean, the guy commenting on the story :D

I don't know why I watched the first video till the end, I'm totally not into anything like that. It would be nice if you posted any comment of yours along with the link so that we'd know what to expect.
As for the second one, yeah, the guy was funny but that flight attendant was even funnier with all her expectations and accusations.

I totally agree. as an administrator of this forum I will ask you to do so in the future - for this video, posted just like that, without any comment whatsoever, comes dangerously close to religious agitation, which is not allowed on this forum (yes, I know this bloke does not represent your religion, but it just looks like that since you didn't bother to post a comment to this link - and the stuff he talks about does concurr with your religious views...). besides, it is just plain annoying, when you enter a link and out of the blue, you see a tele-evangelist preaching... :/(

verging on ridiculous, isn't it? ;) I especially enjoyed the part about hemoroides and losing faith :D

Sure, i didnt mean to pay attention to the person, but what he is talking about.
Especially how he is talking about pork meat scientificaly proven which is not good for health.
I didnt mean to give some religious reason, or to make discussion about any religion,i considered it as information.
Well, some of you people might me not intrested, but i think, any way lots of people gathered there to listen him, do you think he is talking bullshit?

hey, no need to get so defensive - nobody said the man was talking rubbish (btw, bullshit is considered an offensive word, maybe you are not aware of that) - we only pointed out that it is better to advise, when you post a link, what can be found there. here, for instance, it would be good to know that it is a renowned tele-evangelist, but he is talking about stuff of a much wider scope - in this case, the relation between some of the foods we eat and our health. that would do. people that are interested would see it, people that are not, would skip it. it's as simple as that.

I, for one, have no idea, whether he is right or wrong, as he gave no scientific proof of what he was saying, but I do believe this may be interesting for some. I just don't appreciate coming across a tele-preacher all of the sudden, as I don't really trust them, so it would be good to know that this particular one might actually have something to say, so that I don't switch it off before watching the whole thing, thinking it is something it is not.

haha, it's not a first time you are reminding me i'm so that.
Well i have noticed , that sometimes you are thinking i'm so agressive.
I think you're not understanding me.
I know, this is only a forum, which we could not recognize somebody's emotions within 100%.

As word of bullshit, I'm not considered as offensive, if somebody talking rubbish for me it's bullshit.

I'm also not intrested about people who preach like that, i'm intrested about food, and health very much, so when i found this link i just posted here, its not about religion, its about knowledge.

Do you know anything about that pork meat can make a harm and it's very unhealthy for human?

true :) but when you use words such as "bullshit", that kind of sounds aggressive - because, believe it or not, it is a bad word. rubbish is not a bad word, it is used in normal, everyday language, as I'm sure you know. "bullshit" is offensive, and it doesn't matter whether you consider it that way or not, it just is, it's a fact. it is even beeped out when somebody uses it on telly.

that's great and I'm glad you decide to share stuff like that when you find it - all we are asking is that you put a proper comment so that we don't get the wrong idea.

well, I've heard about it. I've also heard that about a lot of other things, to be honest. anyway, I don't even eat pork so it's not like this concerns me all that much ;) still, I believe that if someone comes out and says all that Joel Osteen said about pork meat, he should at least give some reference, a source of scientific investigation of some sort. that would make it all more credible.

Oh, it is about religion, even if you're not aware of that. It is putting rubbish into people's heads, in a nice and shiny wrapping of 'science'.
Pork meat is in no way better or worse than beef. Some nutricionists claim it's beef which is much worse. But then, you never know whether they are ideologicaly influenced by vege movement or not. Trusting any ideologist in such matters is a bit naive, sorry to disappoint you.

I will try to put some evidence-scientifical evidence that pork meat is harm for health, more then other meat.
And Judyta, maybe you would like to post some scientifical proves for that beef is even worse?

No Judyta, i'm not trusting blindly only for Osteen words, its just only one small thing, there are lot of things, proves for that this meat is unhealthy for humans.
And i'm not disappoint with anything, my dear ;) as you see, i posted that only for information, and i didn't expect to convert anybody on any religion.

Aishah, dear :) We can find scientific evidence that beef, pork, poultry, fish, seafood, fruit and vegetable are no good for human health - as well as water, earth, air, sex, lack of sex, smoking, drinking, lack of smoking and lack of drinking. Life in this world is deadly :) The only thing we can do to prevent us dying too soon is moderation in everything, that's all.

you know, i'm really intrested by that, so why don't you try to find it for me, my dear? ;)

And - forgive me - the quality and level of the discussion presented in the articles quoted above are much more trustworthy than preaching. At least, they quote the research results and specialists' opinions, not the Bible.
